Welcome to Hong Kong!

Hong Kong is an amazing place. Yet life in Hong Kong can also be hectic and stressful, and surprisingly empty. This is a place where you can feel lonely among the crowds. Having a mobile phone doesn't seem to make much difference, either. True friends -- the ones who know what you're going through, the ones who are always there -- are all too scarce. But maybe there are more of them out there, somewhere, and you just haven't met them yet. Maybe we can help.

We're a group of ordinary people, as international as Hong Kong is and we see life as an adventure. We enjoy it when it's fun, and we don't give up when it's not. We know there's a purpose in all of life.

The difference for us is Jesus Christ.

Jesus's message of forgiveness and love is life-transforming. We've experienced it, and we want to share it. We're followers of this Christ. We're Christians. And for very good reasons.

Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship. Jesus died for each one of us personally and then rose from the dead. He's alive. It's an amazing historical fact, witnessed by hundreds, and experienced by millions throughout all time, throughout all the world, including here and now in Hong Kong.

Back when Jesus walked from town to town spreading the Good News, the first ones who understood his message ran to tell their friends. When the friends began asking questions, they'd reply, "Come and see!" That's our invitation to you: "Come and see." Ambassador periodically runs courses for people interested in learning more about Christianity.

	Alpha courses are run periodically throughout the year, both to build up individuals in their faith and to introduce Jesus Christ to those who are seeking the answers to life's questions. Subjects include: Why and how do I pray?; How does God guide us?; and How can I be filled with the spirit? Alpha courses are held in people's homes over a ten-week period.
	Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It uses the Gospel of Mark to explore who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. Subjects include: Jesus-who was he?; What is grace?; and What is a Christian? Christianity Explored sessions are held in people's homes over an eight week period.
	The Marriage Course is a series of eight sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship. It’s a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at the important issues in your marriage. The Marriage Course is very practical and will help equip you with the tools needed to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.
