Marriage : “What Did You Expect?” Redeeming The Realities Of Marriage

Parenting: Getting To The Heart Of Parenting

NOV 21 & NOV 22
TIME: 7:00PM TO 10:00PM
NOV 23
TIME: 9:00AM TO 1:00PM
It won’t take long for you to realize that your marriage hasn’t escaped the reality of sin or the brokenness of the world. It’s what you do next that will make all the difference in the world to the character and quality of your marriage.Have you ever wondered why some couples reach a place of unity, love, and understanding in their marriages while other couples seem trapped in the same struggles year, after year, after year? The surrounding culture would lead us to believe that a marriage of unity, love, and understanding is rooted in romance. The Bible would rather say that a good marriage is the result of worship. It is only when I worship God as Creator, Sovereign, and Saviour that I will ever love as I should.Do you find this confusing? Whether you are married, or not, this conference is for you. We will learn how practical these insights are for the everyday issues of a real marriage, and the practical steps that will help couples know how to get from where they are, to where God wants them to be. Parenting is more than using your power to get children to behave in certain ways. Parenting is all about the exposure and change of the child’s heart. When the heart of a child changes the behavioural change that is needed will last. This conference aims to help us know how to be an instrument of heart changing grace in the little moments of life that God has given us with our children. It is aimed at parents raising children from toddlers through to teenagers.
