John Percival, Pastor
John is married to Rachel and they have three children born in Hong Kong: Amelia, Joshua and Lucy. They arrived at Ambassador in August 2010. John is originally from Edinburgh in Scotland. He studied theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in the USA, and has worked for churches in Cambridge, Edinburgh and London before moving to Hong Kong. In his spare time John enjoys history, hiking, and reading a wide variety of books.
Wayne Mok, Associate Pastor
Wayne is originally from Hong Kong, but spent much time moving between Australia, Canada, and the United States. He started at Ambassador in June 2015 after serving at a church in New York. Wayne studied theology at Wheaton College in Illinois and Regent College in Vancouver. He enjoys travelling, reading, and listening to and playing jazz.
Hannah Ball, Women’s Ministry/ Ministry Trainee
Hannah and her husband, Roger moved to Hong Kong in October 2012. Originally from England, Hannah studied English Literature at Exeter University in the UK, and went on to spend her first few years in Hong Kong working as a journalist. She began her role at Ambassador in September 2015 and has particular responsibilities in administration and women’s ministry. In her spare time Hannah loves to write, read, travel, take photos and play chess.
Suapi Su’a Jr (Junior), Ministry Trainee
Junior is from Samoa and is married to Ka Lee Tang from Hong Kong. Junior became a ministry trainee in April 2015 after serving for 14 years in a sports’ ministry affiliated to YWAM in Hong Kong. Junior loves to play rugby (the only sport in heaven) and has been actively involved in missions to China as well as outreach to Drug Rehab Centers. Junior loves music, many sports, cooking, and meeting people for a cuppa. His favorite verse is Psalm 91v1, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Zoe Brannagan – Administration Manager
Zoe grew up in Hong Kong and went to school in Italy and the UK. During her time in the UK, she also worked for a mission organisation, looking after long-term mission partners stationed overseas. She started going to Ambassador in 2012, where she met her husband Michael. While she enjoys living in the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, she likes to escape to the hiking paths and going on long runs during the week.
Andy Liu – Finance Assistant
Andy works part-time in the Finance Department. Born and bred in Basingstoke, England, Andy came to Hong Kong in 2012. He is married to Katharine and they have a pet rabbit. In addition to working at Ambassador, Andy is an English tutor. His current project is trying to lose weight by jogging.
